We could all use more color, more movement, more meaning in our life.

Our life, like a painted brush, lets us spread color to those we touch. Let our lips smile and cheeks blush as we connect and reveal much. For those in good spirits and fair balance, art wellness can add so much vibrancy and aliveness to our day.

And some art, some of us, come from a hurt or damaged place. We’ve all been there at some point. And it is sadness that flows forth, or pain, anger, shame, etc. And if that emotion or pain doesn’t have a place to flow, it builds up as a sort of pressure in the unconscious, and weird things can start happening. Emotions may become erratic; bad habits show up and become compulsive; relationships and emotional health suffer; and a host of many other things. Art can bring you back to wellness. And from wellness, back to vibrancy again.

At the center of all art is our unconscious. And inner symbols appear, often hidden even from the maker themselves, until one learns how to see. Art is the transmission of the unconscious into the visible and tangible world. And once visible, once tangible, a new art begins. It is a two-way flow of influence where conscious and unconscious meet and we create a shared more purposeful reality, teeming with color, connection, and wellbeing.
