In our attempt to master the world, we have detached ourselves from the elements. In doing so, we forgot how to master ourselves.

The most surprising thing about ice training is not the temperature. It’s that many have found profound peace. Peace is so ever-present it freezes out all distraction. It is truly just you, your breath, and peace.

- Improve focus. If you can focus on your state in a tub of ice, your focus is tremendous everywhere else.
